a quick google thingy says it is still considered as one of the best local hubs.. dont know for sure how far this is thrustfull though. I dont use matter...nor Alexa. But i do use NabuCasa, and i am satisfied and more than happy by their offer including online encrypted backups, better voice control etc. and ofcourse...supporting HomeAssistant
😉
yeah i asked because on the github from t0bst4r its says that he saerches a maintainer ....what do u use as voice assistent?
VoicePE and RespeakerLite, flawless
i made the choice to step back from 3rd party thingies a while ago (as far as possible), to much issues, subscriptions, cloud needed things etc.
both integrated well in home assistant
and fully local..
https://github.com/Luligu/matterbridge-home-assistant-addon works quite well, I used to use the t0bst4r hub.
Or you can configure the Alexa Skill manually. The Nabu Casa integration is the same, but without all the "fun" https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/alexa.smart_home/
interesting cool ...for now i think i will stay with 3d party 😄 thx
ah okay so if i do that its basicly the same right? maby i do that xD and have that "fun" xd thx
ah okay cool...so its basicly the same as the one from t0bst4r? will look into it

You install the add on and then add the plugin from the addon web interface
