Companion app issues every 2 to 3 days.

Hi 👋
I'm running home assistant on a VM. I get this error every 2 to 3 days. On my android, and on my wife's iOS as well. I see oracle virtual box home assistant cli and there's nothing new.

I can't access it using nabu.
I can't access it using the IP address on the laptop running the VM either.

I have to restart the VM and then it starts working again.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I would start behind a pc and using chrome browser. Set HA networksetting for ipv4 and ipv6 to automatic and set a reservation/static lease for HA in your router. Then reboot and use the ip you gave HA in your router to login.

Then try login from chrome browser at pc, maybe try incognito/private mode.

also check if you have the NordPass extension in browser, this seems to cause issues too > disable extension.

Just saw it do the same thing.

So Technically it's not the companion app.
Maybe something is corrupted? Where I have to remove and reinstall it on the VM?

have you updated home assistant to newest versions?

Running Pihole, AddGuard etc?

Either when it's running and inaccessible, run ha core logs from VirtualBox to see what's up. Otherwise, when you restart it open up the home-assistant.log.1 file.

Running last months version for now because when I updated, it did something to my integrations.
So I went back to September version.

I have ad guard installed, but I don't think I did anything to it.

What version # is that ? Cuz I'm not running any ad block, ad guard, or pihole on mine..

You have ESPHome or BBL Plugin by chance ?
