I've gone through the setup docs multiple times, over two days and I'm >< this close to getting it working only to have it fail. I get to the page where Google wants to "Go to home-assistant.io (unsafe)" and when I click I get "Something went wrong. Please try again".

That particular issue doesn't show in the troubleshooting guide and has me stumped.

I've since tried (and successfully set up) the DuckDNS integration and have that running fine, but it has not change the base problem.

I've also created a new project and recreated everything from scratch, also to no avail.

Yes, I've paid the $5 🙂

Do you happen to be logged into more than 1 Google account? Some times there's issues when the flow is completed using an account that doesn't match the one in Google Home

I thought you might have been on to something, because I do have multiple accounts, but after signing out of all still no joy. Same message

@jrs You might need to look into this file: /config/.storage/application_credentials

I struggled for weeks with the Nest integration until I found out that some old Nest credentials were still stored in that file (from a previous integration). Once I deleted the lines, I was eventually able to link Nest with HA.
