Hi everyone,
I’m trying to set up a TTS announcement script that can be triggered from any automation. The idea is to pause all active media players, play an AI-generated TTS announcement, and then resume playback only on those players that were playing before.
I remember there was a “save state” script around some time ago, but I can’t seem to find it now.
My setup includes two Denon HEOS speakers and two iEast M5 speakers. Ideally, I’d like the script to be universal — so it works dynamically with any media player, without hardcoding device names.
Has anyone managed to achieve something like this or knows of an example script?
