In my energy chart I would like to see my 11,5 kWh battery. To add the battery two entities are required, one for energy TO the battery, one for energy FROM the battery.

I've created a integral sensor helper based on the battery power (which can be positive or negative), but I don't know how to separate between the two states charging or discharging. Any proposals?

You first have to create 2 power sensors that are positive. Then create energy sensors from them

ok, let me read through this, didn't find these FAQs earlier.

Now I know a bit more, thy so far. I have to copy and paste the code to configuration.yaml, don't I? Maybe a stupid question, but I haven't done anything in yaml up to now.

you can also go to settings -> devices -> helpers -> create helper -> template

its quite a lot in the beginning but it starts making sense at some point...

you can just match the fields in the yaml of the FAQ with the template helper
