Ironically the https://status.home-assistant.io/ status page is reporting everything's ok, while clearly it's not. Seems to be an error related to the service used for user management.

same here. Exact same error messages. Tried logging out from nabu casa from HA and logging back in and seeing this error ```Unexpected error: PreTokenGeneration invocation failed due to error TooManyRequestsException.

Worth noting that this is affecting both the web UI for Nabu Casa and HASS ability to connect to Home Assistant Cloud

I was fiddling around with my whole system because I had an outage yesterday and I never had a problem with the nabu casa account. Then I found some mails from April about an expired credit card so I thought all the time, the problem exist on my side. They should show that there is a problem! 😫

i was confused too. i came home from nightshift my alexa told me i have to relogin my home assitent skill. i logged in to alexa app and tryed and login failed. taht i checked hoem assitent it says i have to auth my amazon acocunt again i tryed and it failed too^^

As of right now, cloud login with nabu casa works again. (at least for me)

EU: Offline in the morning nabu website login and home assistant dashboard. Online after 2:30 pm. Now able to login on the website but not the dashboard

Same here in the UK.

Been attempting to connect my HA instance to Cloud by signing in all day. Either get “unknown error” or “unable to reach the Home Assistant Cloud”.

Account info website works fine, but obviously shows my HA as not connected.

Everything else is fine — other cloud integrations are working fine, so I don’t think it’s anything on my end.

Have restarted both my HA container and the host system several times with no change.

7am the next day and still no luck.

HA and AWS service statuses say everything is absolutely fine now, so I’m not sure what’s going on 🙁

Already rebooted few times again today. Still not working. How badly companies get around High Availability is a disgrace 😅

Almost certainly something odd on my side, triggered by the outage since everything was fine beforehand. Performed many reboots and absolutely everything else is working normally.

Annoyingly I can’t see anything useful in the logs — if I was seeing name resolution errors or connection timeouts I could at least begin to diagnose.

I’ll see if I can find out what urls the HA cloud login is using then, if I need, will wireshark the communication and see what’s going on.

Tried to create a new test account. I get "Unable to reach the Home Assistant Cloud." when trying to create a new account.

Already created one, they may have had data loss or something as the issue was with dynamoDB

Odd thing is I didn’t get a confirmation email when I sent the ticket, do you normally get a confirmation email about those?

Thank you — the FAQ there piqued a memory about my ISP having some ipv6 wobbles recently.

I temporarily disabled ipv6 on my HA host via:

sudo sysctl -w net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6=1
sudo sysctl -w net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6=1
sudo sysctl -w net.ipv6.conf.lo.disable_ipv6=1

…and it logged in to Cloud successfully!

Right — sorry for the noise. I’m off to go reboot my ONT and nag my ISP 🙂

resetting the cloud data from the Home assistant cloud page and a restart solved the issue for me.
