Hi all,

I had my eyes on a solar system
-4x solar panels
-2x Growatt noah 2000
-1x APSystems EZ1-M

This because i can control the output of the ez1-m so i don't push energy to the grid.

The problem is the Geowatt noah 2000.

According to posts i figured out that it isn't possible to reah out the noah 2000 these days.

What should i do?

Noah is great because i can place them between the solar panels and inverter (and i can control the ez1 output.) if i use a stand alone plugin battery inmust be able to read and control the output of those.

Can someone help or suggest devices that would meet my requirements.

Edit:

I just want to store in batteries when solar is over producing and use that energy when there is no sun. Output control from HA is needed because i don't want to push energy to the grid.

You should probably tell people about what your requirements are...

Generally in line battery solutions aren't great because they cannot be charged from the grid to ensure they operate healthily

#

There are many other options out there in various price ranges by major brands that fit such small installation

#

Most of them may be to avoid if they don't offer local communication

I don't want to charge from the grid. Only from solar power.

I checked many devices but weirdly enough i cant find ad-ons for them to read/control

you're basically asking us to help you design a solar battery system. This is not the right place for that

I'm not asking to design but share some experiance on this matter. Maybe someone did manage to read the noah 2000.

those systems arent (yet) ready for careless deployment like you could get out of smartphones

Oh okay. So better to look for a systen that does charge a bit from the grid?

one that can do both would be best; ac charge tends to be less efficient but thats the only option to get energy into batteries when they be low

some anker and zendure systems can do that

those tend to also talk with smart meters and be the inverter so you dont need to diy the controls (but that needs to work on local communication)
