Noticed today that my power says “Zigbee Certified Product”. Has anybody been able to intercept the signal to get real time readings?

This is a different class of zigbee, the meter is actually a coordinator and anything that receives the data has to be joined to it. There are some commercial devices that can do this but you have to work with your utility. They also can cause issues with joining devices to you main zigbee mesh:

Thanks for this info. I got a similar smart meter installed sometime last year and talked to my utility about syncing it and they just referred me to the manufacturer. I never bothered to go beyond that
