well if i remember right, you've asked this question once before a month (or 2) ago. So i would advise you to take a look at those conversations again.

#

should be easy to find since it was a long, long thread...

Right about what M says..

#

Previous question and answer.. Buy sff pc, install ProxmoxVE and vm HAOS. Go for NabuCasa cloud since you will need this to fullfill the government request for having encrypted offsite backups.

ill try it first,

so far i have automation on lighting using shelly products
and a booking system, i really want a hub for all of this, and im thinking HA will be the right one

#

so the flow will be like

1)customer book via booking system
2)send details to HA to switch on lighting in the booking period and switch off automatically 5 mins after booking period ends

there are tons of addons and integrations out there, but for your specific needs you need the hardware as discussed in previous thread. That basic since a pi is not going to handle that... Meanwhile check internet for your needs >what database, how to integrate in HA etc etc. That's why it's recommended for bussiness users to use dedicated software systems, since this will all be handled in your software contract and you will have support on it. (i guess 😉 )

#

Possible in HA, most likely.. bussiness level 24/7 support when having blackout at bussiness, not likely...

hey @vocal kettle can HA works without monitor after setup?

Ofcouse, you access it via browser

Sorry, I have the feeling we are reversing 2 threads to the basics here, >>> without knowing what home assistant is (a server wich normally operates without screen after installation) we can discuss all databases and integration and backup options that are possible... <<< but everything that has already been written is useless without knowing what you want and have had a look at it once.
