Got a feeling one of the last few updates caused the gain on the output to be too high, and my voice assistant now sounds like it's speaking into a mic way above the noise gate and sounds quite distorted.

Or how do i adjust it's gain on current firmware's output?

Install firmware on Home Assistant Voice PE.

I would re-install, i have no issues with gain after updates.

And have you rebooted everything (HA and VPE)?
