As you can see in the screenshot all sensor names prefixed with the (old) device name "Galaxy Watch4 (YYLX)". This only happens on the galaxy watch device and not the android or iphone. Also the device has been renamed too "Electric Watch" if that's relevant.
#Sensor/Entity names prefixed with device name.

the watch does not have teh ability to rename entities, it will take the name given during onboarding when you set the device name. you would need to setup the watch again to get new entities to match the updated name
ok, but my problem is that the sensor/entity visual names have the technical name in front of them which bothers me, because other phones don't have that
when you clicked that renmae buton did you hit yes to renaming the entity IDs thats usually the next pop-up
if that did not work then starting fresh with the watch may the only solution unless the reset button in the entity config screen works
where button?
I don't see no button
edit any of those entities
next to the ID is a reset button
first icon next to the ID
I don't need that
I just need it like this
not like this
idc about the entity id, I just care about the visual name
and I don't want to rename all because I'm too lazy
then follow the start fresh steps and provide the name you wish and that will apply to both
(and there's like 30)
hmmmm... ok, but what caused the name to appear in front of the sensor name?
probably a rename that did not change the entity IDs?
mine which has the same name looks like this
ugh why does it do that
try to rename the device name again and hit yes to the entity ID pop-up? that pop-up shold trigger the update
do you mean that pen?
there ain't no pop up
I no changed the name to smt else and then back and now it's like this
even weirder
it seems that after loging out and in and changing some settings, after some time it corrected itself
