#Error reconnecting Zooz ZSE42 leak detector to ZWA-2

Hello, I'm having trouble getting my zse42 leak detectors to join the Zwave. Initially they joined fine, but after rebuilding my HA system they are unable to join again. All other zwave devices were able to rejoin fine after hard resetting them. I have hard reset both of the zse42s multiple times to the same result. I suspect this is an issue with the device being remembered in the ZWA-2, but I'm not sure how to troubleshoot that further. Thanks for your help!

The error I get in debug:

The second one gets essentially the same error, but node 7 instead. Thanks for your help!

"Dropping message because node 6 does not exist" means the controller doesn't think the node making a report still exists.

#

Try excluding the devices.

#

As a side note, your background RSSI values are quite bad.

Thank you for the help.! Could this be that the device isn’t correctly hard resetting and is still attempting to log in with previous credentials? After I reset and add the device into HA I then wake it up to join, but it’s as if they don’t agree.

For my signal numbers, I’ve been a little confused about why so many battery devices are attempting to directly connect to the hub even though I placed wired repeaters (switches mostly) already throughout the house. Is there a way to force the mesh to use the closer repeater? Sorry if this is too far off topic.

I think some of the Zooz devices are a little difficult to factory reset.

Excluding the device will be sure to remove it.
