#4x4 LED Matrix double ground?

I would be massively surpised if they were not connected together, if you have a multimeter then you could just do a continuity test.
its just likely got a ground on both sides so you have a choice and if you have them orientated differently.
although it is possible that its isolated so you can use different voltage reference on your data line vs power line. however i think its unlikly. as mentioned above. run a continuity test and see if they are connected together or not.
I'll update this tomorrow, I have to go get another multimeter since the one I had was old and I'd rather just get a new one for all this
yeah if your working on stuff like this then having a decent multimeter is a must.
