I was having router issues. I think it was due to a conflict between my router IP address and a hotspot IP address. I could not figure out how to re-cnfigure the hot spot, so I changed my routers IP address fro, 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.2.1 .

I noticed shortly after that I could not connect to HA with homeassistant.local, or with the mobil app. devices controlled by HA still appear to function so I assume it is running. I have a home assistant Yellow, that has been operational for almost a year. (361 days since the purchase)

Tonight, i have been trying to solve this issue. I tried both http://homeassistant.local:8123 and http://homeassistant:8123. I have also searched for it in the connected devices listed in my router. I have power cycled it several times, the red light comes on when intially powered up, then goes off. The green light is flashing activity, the Yellow light has a nice heartbeat. the yellow activity light on the ethernet cable is also blinking.

I have also unplugged the network hotspot that was causing the conflict and set my router back to 192.168.1.1 with no change.

I have run out of ideas. how do i connect to this unit again?

Does it use DHCP or a static ip? How is it connected to the network? Can you connect via serial and check ha network info?

I just noticed that my office Roku didnt have an internet connection either. It is connected via ethernet and i tried to reconnect and it failed, it was able to connect via wifi. I may still have issues with my router (or a switch) affecting just the ethernet devices.
