#Google home integration via nabu casa

sounds like a dns issue. Check internal network is running fine (e.g. ping google.com and see if it responds. Also check network config in HA, set it to auto (and disable ipv6 if not perse needed) and configure static ip for HA in your router.
Reboot..
Google pings back, ipv6 is disabled, not sure if static IP would change anything
dont pm please, what router do you have?
DNS is usually a good suspect; in this case, I think it is more of a client issue, most likely the browser or plugins.
- Try incognito/private browser.
- Try a different browser.
- Try a different client.
At least (to test) it will get the correct dhcp from router. If something wrong is set up static in HA, problem will occur. Also try the option Ludeeus offered.
and refresh browser cache 😉
Must be somewhere in LAN/DHCP settings in router where you set static address..
Thank you both, using another browser worked (chrome)
@south carbon did you manage to connect Google Home to Nabu Casa Cloud on your PC? Or just different browser on your mobile device? I'm getting Could not reach Home Assistant Cloud by Nabu Casa. Please try again. Error no matter what I try.
I don't think there is an option to connect Google home to homeassistant via nabu casa on pc. It only works on Chrome browser on my phone. Doesn't work on any other browser for me 🙁
btw you can add google home in home assistant making use of google sdk, as far as know you would have to create a project linked to ha though. Pain in the *ss
