Have home assistant installed in a vm, installed the esphome integration. Have several devices not updating, someone mentioned it may be a caching issue, and click the three dots to clear the cache, but I don't have that option. So I went looking for the cache folders and can't find them, also can't find any of the yaml files for the configs. Where would I look for them? I don't have a config/esphome folder.

that is in the ESPHome Builder addon (or whatever they call it now)
you can probably also just reflash them however you did it the first time

It's the everything presence lite. It's stuck at an older version, same question was asked on the everything smart server and this was the answer and fix, but I don't have that option.

Install that and you will be able to adopt the existing devices, rebuild, and reflash them
