Converted an old Lenovo T490s Win 11 Pro laptop to an HAOS machine. Laptop is a Core i7 8th gen with 32GB RAM and 512K SSD. HAOS disables Sleep modes automatically (nice feature), have monitored power consumption over several days and it's very steady at about 6.5-6.7 Watts. From what I've read, this is similar to various old Mini PC's folks are using. I guess longevity of the laptop may be an issue, we'll see. Eventually, if I find a use case, I'll dive into Proxmox/VM's/Containers, which I suspect will increase power consumption. But for now HAOS is sufficient.
