I have a goodnight script, and one action is to close the garage door (which is usually already closed, as it was tonight) This has always worked, except tonight it opened the door.

I bolded the garage lines below - what is "turned opening?" and why would this happen?

Appreciate the help.

Script 'Script - Thermostat Night'
(script.goodnight) turned on
Script - Thermostat Night (script.script_thermostat_night) started
(script.script_thermostat_night) turned on
(script.script_thermostat_night) turned off
Cover 'Close' on Garage Door
Light 'Turn off' on Back Garage Door Light and Back Yard Deck House Lights
(light.back_yard_deck_house_lights) turned off
(light.back_garage_door_light_top) turned off
(light.back_garage_door_light) turned off
Switch 'Turn on' on Bedroom Noise
Delay for 1:00
3 seconds later
(cover.garage_door) turned opening
1 minute later
Scene 'Activate' on Scene - Inside Lights Out

I suggest looking through the logbook for what happened. Many garage doors have a single button to open/close/stop, so it's possible that it saw the "close" and caused it to open

Agreed, look at the logbook of the garage door and see what it lists as reason.
