I bought a cm 5 lite to upgrade my current HA Yellow system running a cm4 lite with a nvme disk for storage.
Read the migrate cm4 lite article, replaced the cm module and tried to boot up again.
Getting 4 long and 5 short blinks from the green led and nothing else.
Found an article for cm4 about this led pattern sayin its firmware error, it this the same for cm5 and I could follow these instructions to fix it? https://support.nabucasa.com/hc/en-us/articles/25455063533853-Green-LED-on-Home-Assistant-Yellow-flashes-4-times-short-and-5-times-long

The procedure should be the same.

does not appear to be the same, no bootcode file found in recovery when I run rpiboot.exe -d recovery and all the following text indicate the command and usage is specificly for the cm4.

The RPi docs don't state a different procedure.
You can try to use the Raspberry Pi Imager. If I remember correctly, it has the option to flash firmware in "Misc utility images".

tried pi imager och its saying all the data on the dive will be wiped, is there no way to get it booting without wiping all the data?

I have recent backups so did the whole wipe and reflash, everything looked good until I tried to start it again and its just blinking in the same pattern again.

Have you selected the CM5 HAOS version for Yellow in the Imager, when you re-flashed the drive?

yes I did, starting to belive my cm5 is faulty, reinstalling the cm4 now to see if that works
