#Linux on HASS Green ?

green? hardware? server? ... what would you like to serve?
Just repurpose Green HW, install any ARM linux
It seems to ignore SD card with anything onboard, except HA green-installer
the green is custom hardware and not a generic system. could you build a custom image for it to do other things? probably... but realistically it would not be a simple process. you are likely better off using some other hardware.
or depending on your desired use case you could just continue to use HAOS and running additional software as addons.
@cobalt moss Bit confusing is video from big boss ๐ as he states that the green can be repurposed. https://youtu.be/EmLV6lJLzSU around 1:15

yeah I guess its not entirely clear, I guess what Paulus was getting at is that in theory there is nothing stopping you building a custom OS and running it on the green. however i don't know of anyone that has actually done it. I guess as the green ages you will see projects that mess with it.
to my knowledge there is currently no OS other than HAOS that supports it "out the box"
okido, clear as water.
It's one of my cons [3] against it: https://gist.github.com/Impact123/6ee130240bdc6a7fed2d5224616544a0
