#Something I'm missing regarding blueprints

I'm new to home automation. I have a bunch of zigbee lights and a raspberry pi with Home Assistant OS. I have Philips Hue dimmer switches that I am trying to set to operate my lights and I am really struggling to creating blueprints/automations, I feel there is something crucial I am missing.

I started looking for existing blueprints for the Hue dimmer that I could use for examples, and I found many, but their presets are all blank. Do bluprints with prefilled actions exist? A blueprint where I can point it at the dimmer switch and the lights I want to be to operate, and all of the actions and conditions exist to operate the Hue dimmer switch similar to how it would operate out of the box?

I've figured out how to group lights together under "helpers". I cannot figure out how to assign an action to a group of lights, instead of creating actions for 8 individual devices.

I'd gladly accept recommendations on video and written guides. At this point I have 20 tabs open and I'm feeling overwhelmed. Thanks!

I've figured out how to group lights together under "helpers".

For Zigbee-based entities it's better to use Zigbee groups. Doing so cuts down on traffic on the mesh and leads to faster and more reliable functionality in most cases.

Use Entity-based actions instead of Device actions.

So I figured out how to make Zigbee groups, thanks for that!

Now I'm trying to find these group Entities when editing blueprints and I'm just not seeing how I tell them to do things 🙁

I might have just made a breakthrough. Maybe I just needed to type that into the universe.
