#OpenWakeWord training not in the Google Colab Notebook

Training within the Google Colab Notebook is often broken because of constant updates to Colab and dependencies. It seems as though OpenWakeWord should run in any Python environment...but I am not a Python developer, or a coder, or a "Linux guru", although I can follow commands, understand much about Linux and how it works, and have even managed to train several voice models with TextyMcSpeechy.

Does anyone know of any website, YouTube video, text file, or any document that goes over how to train a custom model on just...Plain Old Linux, and sidestep the ridiculous Google Colab thing entirely? I realize the point of the Colab Notebook was to make it available to everyone, but the constant updates and depdency breakages have made it available, really, to no one. Further, sadly, while I have the greatest respect for dscripka and what they've accomplished with their code, there are many broken links on the OpenWakeWord github repository, making researching this topic difficult.
