I am based in the United States and am looking for Zigbee smart switches, wired (no battery operated - stick to wall shenanigans), that are compatible with "no neutral" wiring and are capable of being installed in a 2 or 3 gang enclosure alongside non-smart rocker switches and/or other smart switches of the same brand/model/form factor. Most ever switch enclosure in my house is 2 or 3 gang.

I had originally found the Sonoff and love their price, multi-gang in one-gang form factor and no-neutral wiring.

Unfortunately, they aren't true "single-gang" as their integrated faceplate obstructs any adjacent switch making them unable to be installed seamlessly in a 2 or 3 gang enclosure.

I found these from MOES that APPEAR to have the right single-gang form factor and have ordered one to test, unfortunately the reviews are not great overall and they are priced higher than their Sonoff counterparts:

I have found other options that are multi-gang "all-in-one" but that forces you to use 2 or 3 smart switches where in some of my cases I need to maintain a boring rocker for 3 or 4-way switching:

Does anyone have any decent recommendations? Thanks in advance!

If you want an actual switch that'll fit in a normal US wall box, Inovelli Blues would be what I recommend. They are kinda expensive with the bypass needed for non-neutral setups, but they fit a normal Decora Lutron Claro faceplate. I've been tinkering with one and I like that it exposes a lot to home assistant

If this fits in a single gang form factor and can be installed in a standard 2 or 3 gang box alongside 1 or 2 more of the same switch... that's good stuff.

I think it was all done in house. Dude behind inovelli is a bright guy, and based on what I know about him, this seems to be on brand

Curios about the price point on the button version above. The Sonoffs are hard to beat at under $40 each but the form factor is KILLING ME. Nearly every switch enclosure in my house is 2 or 3 gang which means the Sonoffs, or any other larger than normal single gang form factor, just doesn't play well with any other switch.

Well, the regular dimmer style switch can technically be set up to act as a 6 or 8 button switch

#

each direction counts as a separate input, and it recognizes up to 4 taps, plus a hold

#

so a triple tap up can be set to do one thing, and a double tap down can also be something, and a tap and hold can be something else

That's really interesting... I wonder how my kids would handle it!

theres also the mode button on the side that can switch between profiles as well

The tinkering I have done with it, I have a light that turns on/off with a top/bottom tap, and I can brighten/dim the light with a top/bottom hold. double taps up/down cycle colors, triple taps send a notification to my phone because I don't have anything else currently to control
