Hi everyone, I need some advice for my smart home setup.
I want to integrate lights, blinds, heating, cooling, cameras (with possible local recording/analysis), smart locks, and garage automation.
Would you recommend starting with a Raspberry Pi (4/5 + SSD) or a Home Assistant Yellow for this type of installation?
My main concerns are performance, reliability, and future scalability.

Hi, just the camera recording needs a lot of power and space. I use a RPi 4 for +-80 devices and it's perfect, but cameras local recording is a different league 😉
