I used to have a Xfinty alarm system in my home. I still have the door and window sensors installed. Is there any way to utilize them? I'm pretty handy if there is something I can build to communicate with the sensors. I'm not sure if this is possible or feasible. Any information on this option would be great. So far I'm not even sure how they communicated with the original panel IE blutooth? Thank you

I know it isn't much help. I'm going to pull off the cover and see if it is labeled inside and also try to hunt down the old screen to see if it is labeled at all. Looking at some of the prices I may just buy new ones so i know what they are if I can't get anywhere easy with these.

to be honest, by the looks of those monstrositys i would take a look at zigbee related stuff from alibahbah, door/window sensors etc. Easier to setup than.. look @picture above 😉

@burnt dome the Xfinity sensors are Zigbee, so you could use them with a Zigbee adapter and zigbee2mqtt or ZHA

That being said, when I used to have those sensors, all but one of them would eat through batteries and I could never figure out why, so I ditched them. YMMV though
