Looking to buy a smart thermo stat and the T6 keeps popping in up but it seems like it's being discontinued so I'm trying to figure out if it's still a good option? I know the model number ending 2007 is desired and I'd rather avoid zigbee at this point because I'm in a condo building with tons of wifi networks. I want to completely avoid any requirements for a cloud connection if you have any recommendations. Thanks
#Honeywell T6 Pro Thermostat, is it one of the better Z wave options still?

I just got the T6 Pro z-wave with Smart start. I am liking it, I'm still learning and working with HA. It's not new and surprised there is no discussion on it. only thing I have not figured out yet is to see outdoor temperature.
Using the T6 wifi, it does what it has to do.. no problems. For outdoor temp you can go to devices, select T6 and look for disabled sensors. AFAIK the outdoor temp is disabled by default.
I have it enabled on the T6, but don't see it on T6's display nor in HA sensors. and I know the sensor is good because it worked on the Honeywell thermostat that I replaced.
this is shown in HA. Have not seen it on display T6 though..
I don't have that, just looked again
We have three T6 ZW thermostats and couldn’t be happier
do you get outdoor temperature reading on them? (sensor connected to S1 & S2)
