Hey everyone! 👋

I’d like to share with you Linus Dashboard, an open-source project I’ve been working on to make Home Assistant dashboards smarter and easier to use.

🚀 What is it?
Linus Dashboard is a plug-n-play Lovelace dashboard that automatically organizes your devices and areas in a clean and intuitive way. It comes with smart sections for each room and device type (lights, sensors, media, climate…), so you don’t have to spend hours configuring YAML or tweaking UI cards.

Key Features

  • Automatic detection of areas and devices
  • Dynamic sections for lights, media players, sensors, alarms, covers, etc.
  • Views by room and by floor
  • Dedicated Security view (alarm, presence, cameras…)
  • Unavailable devices view to quickly spot issues
  • Magic grouping logic: entities are grouped by room and by function
  • Ready-to-use design that works out of the box
  • Aggregate cards (e.g., temperature, humidity, battery…) for a quick overview across rooms

🛠️ How to install

  • Available via HACS
  • Install the integration and dashboard in just a few clicks

💡 Why?
Because dashboards should be simple. Instead of manually creating views and cards, Linus Dashboard adapts to your setup and lets you focus on enjoying your smart home.

👉 I’d love to hear your feedback, suggestions, and ideas for new features.
If you try it, let me know how it works with your setup!

And if you like the project, don’t hesitate to drop a ⭐ on GitHub, it really helps the project grow 🙏

Thanks to the HA community for the inspiration and support! 💚
