I would like to quickly edit some python code for debugging reasons. I'm running HA OS and need to open the .py file of some default integration with the VS-Code addon (or by any other means) where are they located?

you can drop in the code for a built-in integration from here in /config/custom_components with your changes and restart HA, and HA will use that version instead of the built-in one
you need to specify a version number in manifest.json though
