hey guys, im trying to figure out how to add a countdown timer to my manual alarm card
cant seem to find the option anywhere
i basically want to show how long before the alarm is triggered or armed

I have a couple of questions to understand what you're wanting to do.

countdown timer
Are you looking for a to-the-second real-time counter to be displayed
to show how long
or are you looking for some text just to say "In 6 hours" or "In 5 minutes" kind of thing?
Also, where is the time/duration coming from? Is it an entity or an attribute?
