Voice assistant announce service not working

so i finally got an esp32 device somewhat working with voice assistant, i can wake word with hey jarvis and it works when it wants to decode what i say to it properly that is. but when i try to go to dev tools and call the satellite announce service, i cant find my device as a selectable entity.

i get that if i try to use yaml to force it to the device id or entity id

Not all satellites have ability to announce.
