HACS reckons simple thermostat has been removed from HACS when it hasn't been

Hi all. So I went to update HA and HACS from 2025.7 today, and while most things worked well, I've got one error within HA and the simple-thermostat repo. When I updated everything, I get this error within HA now:

Because Repository has been abandoned, nervetattoo/simple-thermostat has been removed from HACS.

Now, within HACS I can search for it, and it still shows up, so it hasn't been removed. Also, the error says that the repo has been abandoned, but when you go to the repo, there's no notice of it being abandoned or removed or archived or anything, so I'm not entirely sure why it's got this error? I also tried redownloading it and still have the same error. Is there something I'm missing with this, or is there something I can do to fix it?

Probably a question for here, but if you have it downloaded already, it will show up in the HACS list like that.

The original repo has not been updated in 3 years, including some critical dependencies. There is an updated fork that you can add using the custom repositories feature in HACS: https://github.com/nickdos/simple-thermostat

ah, i take it the critical dependences are kinda important?
