Having a weird issue with the companion app on iPad, it keeps launching on its own, sometimes when I open another app, sometimes while I’m using another app, sometimes when I’m not even touching it but it’s been left on the home screen, anyone have an idea why this might be happening?

I uninstalled it and plan on reinstalling to see if the issue persist, weird that it’s happening on ipados and macOS

You're not alone. I can confirm that I am experiencing the same issue (on my iPad only, never on my iPhone) for more than a month already. I am also using TestFlight to get trial versions and have tried to go back a few releases, but to no avail. I also have reported it once via the TestFlight app, but got no response yet, so I assumed it was an issue with my iPad. I have already tried to remove and reinstall the app, but the issue remained.
