The new UI, with the detail on the right is not good on wide screen, specially for variables as you can see

For templates you can enlarge it. But I agree, a bit more dynamic would be nice. Even on a non-wide screen I would have liked a 50-50 ratio more.

Tbh, I don’t use the ui but a common complaint is that it’s too small. I’ve seen screenshots where it only takes up the middle 33% of the screen.
Iirc my home pc, it takes up the middle 50% and I don’t have a crazy widesceeen monitor. Just a 27inch

@tepid crag Would it also be an option to have the 3-dot menu also still on the item in the left? It's now all an extra click to test or copy a step. So still having it next to the drag icon would be nice.
