#WLED integration. What does each light entity do exactly?

I have a dig2go connected to a SK6812 LED strip. Integrated in HA, all works fine.

One thing that bothers me is that there's 2 switches in the device. dig2go and main. I guess they're the default ones for a single channel controller.

  • The light only turns on when both light entities are on.
  • The dig2go entitiy doesn't actually turn off the controller. If it did, it wouldn't respond to turning on again from HA. And it does.
  • The dig2go entitiy is the one that has colour/temp and features enabled.
  • Within the WLED interface there's a single "Power" button.

Can someone clarify this silly thing?

It bothers me having 2 switches, and I want to understand the logic behind it. I might disable one (leaving it On) and just use the other one. HA struggles to understand the logic behind this "light".
