I am looking to buy a bias light for my monitor, an LED strip or so for back of the monitor, my primary requirement is to control it with HA since I want the light to be off when there is screen saver or the display is turning off and there are sensors for these in the companion app. So any light strip compatible is something I should evaluate. Any recommendation?

I’d take a look at the WLED project. They have an entire discord.

You could pair that will something like HASS agent (windows) to control it automatically based on computer state.

Wled is more diy, but it works great.

Hue, lifx, govee have off the shelf strips that will integrate too.
