#Lost old Zigbee radio, bought a new one, struggling with adopting all our old devices

I'm part of a hackersapce that recently lost the skyconnect zigbee hub we were using to control ~60 devices. We can't get it back, and have purchased a SMLIGHT SLZB-06 to replace it.

We can't migrate radios, because we don't have access to the old radio, so I went ahead and created a new network. Upon creation I appeared to pick up all of our devices, but on their own network, disconnected from the coordinator. The "visualization" tab in ZHA showed all the devices in their mesh, with the SMLIGHT device in the middle, not connected to anything. I'm not sure if this is just ZHA remembering them, or the SMLIGHT hub seeing the old network it's not part of.

So, that's our situation. When I go to add one of our old devices to the new zigbee network, the ZHA integration isn't picking anything up. When I try to add one of our Hue bulbs to it, I can get the bulb into pairing mode for a split second, then it leaves pairing mode.

Is this because our old mesh is still online? Are our mains-powered devices repeating the old mesh and re-adopting devices as I put them into pairing mode? Is that even how Zigbee works?

I haven't gotten the chance to try and stand the new zigbee hub up in an area that doesn't already have an orphaned mesh floating around in it. That's my next troubleshooting step. I theorize that this is the problem because I had to follow the steps outlined here: https://community.home-assistant.io/t/trying-to-add-smlight-slzb-06-to-zha-keep-getting-an-error/824427 before I could even get ZHA to create a new network.

If you must know, we don't have access to our old zigbee radio because it was taken out of spite. Hackers gonna hack.

You can replace the IEEE on the SLZB-06 with the old one. Not a user of ZHA but I'd be surprised if you wouldn't be able to find the IEEE somewhere

Can't find it anywhere, I think we're just gonna give up and create a new network, but it seems like i've got to find every single router-type device and unplug it before my new coordinator is happy

Okay, I've gotten new devices to pair after removing the antenna and pairing them very close to the coordinator
