#Consumed energy "Home" way lower than integral sensor

Hey guys i am having trouble with my energy dashbaord, may someone can point me in the right direction.

I have setup my energy dashboard using the following sensors from my pv system, which already output data in kWh:
Total Energy (import)
Total Energy (export)
Total PV Generation
Total Battery Discharge
Total Battery Charge

I have a separate sensor from my pv system "House power consumption" which outputs in watts. For this sensor i have made an integral sensor (mode trapezoidal) to get the data in kWh. I am using this sensor in an utility sensor to give me the hourly consumed energy. i am using this utility sensor in a dashboard (Statistics graph) to show me the history of consumed energy every hour.

If i compare the consumed energy under "Home" in the default energy dashboard it shows way less energy consumed (300 Wh) than the "selfmade" dashbaord which uses the "House power consumption" sensor that shows 6.42 kWh.

What could cause the default energy dashboard to be so low?

your grid import sensor is 0 in the energy dashboard, is that correct?

#

something is not right with your sensors. You generated 52.7 kWh of solar, 48.3 kWh was exported? That seems extreme

#

8.2 kWh was used to charge the battery. But that can't be possible because 52.7-48.3 = 4.4 kWh

Yes currently it shows 0 kWh. But it doesnt always. I am not at my pc now, but usuall it shows about 3-8kWh imported per day.
It is a big pv system (about 30kW of panels). But as you say i also think something is off

#

Im gonna send the historic data of my the other sensors as soon as i am back at my pc.

So you're actually exporting almost all of your PV energy?

Still doesn't explain why the numbers are wrong though

Nothing to see there

Do you have a graph of the grid power sensor of today?

frank shoal
#

i got a "Total power", "Total energy import" and "Total energy export" i can show (and some others but i dont think they are usefull in this case)

#

This one is "Total power"

#

Thats "Total energy import"

#

and this one is "Total energy export"

wind yacht
#

and total power is total grid power?

frank shoal
#

to my understanding it should be, yes.

wind yacht
#

then total energy import cant be a flat line right

frank shoal
#

i am using these sensors as described

wind yacht
#

looks to me like the import sensor is dead

frank shoal
#

i am gonna check it

#

and sorry i am not 100% sure about the "total power" as i have a "total power" and an "active power", where "active power" definitly shows the current power im importing or exporting to the grid

#

oh i think i spot the problem

#

there is a "total energy (import)" and a "meter total energy (import)" and i wrongly chose "total energy (import)" which is just a flat line. The "meter total energy (import)" indeed show a graph as expected.
