I have BlueIris setup on a VM and have two IP cameras.

Both of my cameras are using the built-in smart AI to detect people within boundaries. When this happens, I have an ONVIF event that fires and sends to Home Assistant so I can see when the triggers were activated. Works well!

BlueIris also saves a snapshot of the trigger/alert and it then pushes to my Pushover account so I can receive the alert and photo on my phone.

I'd love to have the newest photo from the alerts also show up on my HA dashboard. But i'll be damned if I can get it working.

Any help to achieve this?

I am running unRAID with Windows/Blueiris as 1 VM and HA as another VM. All photos/CCTV recordings are saved to the drives on my unRAID.

Something to consider, however, is the card on the dashboard may not show the most up-to-date image. Most cards, once it is rendered, will stay on that image. You might consider using the gallery-card. (I haven't used it but it seems to be build for this purpose.)
