How do I add a second Apple TV device to an existing Apple TV integration?

When I attempt to add a second Apple TV to an existing integration, HA recognizes the IP address and the Apple TV posts the three PINs and there is a prompt saying the device is "re-authenticated", but neither the device nor any entities are visible in HA. The goal is to create an automation to trigger light scenes when the Apple TV changes states (playing, paused, or stopped).
