Hello!
I've tried the Govee LED bulbs and they don't integrate with HA.

Looking on amazon, there's a bunch os 'smart RGB lights" of various random brands (Acatar, Ledeply, Xfox, etc).

Any recommendations for which ones work?
Preferably local-only control, no account/cloud middle-set; happy to reflash with tasmota/ESPhome if it can be done OTA (not interested in cracking open the bulbs).

Thanks!!!

You might want to consider zigbee; there's a decent selection of bulbs available (both hue and ikea have rgbww gu10s for example), fully local control, connect direct to home assistant if you have an appropriate zigbee coordinator usb dongle.

I like the ikea ones. reasonably priced. if you get them, I do recommend getting their small lamp which takes gu10 bulbs too. because if you've got 5 bulbs on one switch and you need to pair just one, it's a pain in the ass.
