Hi guys, having an issue with connecting Control 4, entering IP, username and password fine but every time it fails to connect, any suggestions? Cheers

The only thing I can find about OS says its OS 3 so I'd assume yes?

if it's the right version, then look in your logs for errors

also understand that remote access is not supported

with the same subnet, and control4 has a reserved IP and you put the IP in correctly in the configuration?

Yup, even copied and pasted from the router itself, running a Unifi network so its quite easy to see it all

what is the exact ip you're putting into the configuration?

192.168.178.22 - which is what the C4 dealers set it to, on a static IP on the router

I've not set a static IP on HA yet, is that likely to have an impact?

You didn't put quotes or anything else in the configuration? Can you show the configuration by taking a screenshot?

Wrong IP, .22 was a control 4 touch screen, in unifi network was showing as manufactured by C4, the C4 proccess is .10 and just shows as an android device

on a side note, do you know if the control 4 touch screens can be used by home assistant?
