Been having this for some time now and it was driving me mad. After years of operating just fine, my Samsung tv suddenly started disconnecting from the network and turning off out its own.
Could not make any sense, but then figured it might have been the hdmi to the Apple TV that was set to sleep after 15 minutes.

But it wasn’t…. I’ve set that to never sleep, and still the Samsung auto turned off and restarted.

Then I noticed many external devices being connected (home assistant among them couple of times) and I decided to disable all of those.

Next I got a repair of non authorized in HA

But, more importantly, the Samsung Tv remains powered like before!

So somehow the Samsung Smart TV integration causes the auto turn-off sequence.

Does anyone here have an idea what could cause that?

could also be a faulty capacitor in the tv psu

Yeah I thought about that but because it didn’t happen after the integration whipe I figured that to be not the case

Otoh I didn’t see anything in the integration that would consist of some timing expiring and turning off
