#Is there a POE powered bluetooth proxy that I can buy?

and, if there is - can I have multiples and talk to bluetooth devices all over the place?
https://www.reddit.com/r/homeassistant/comments/1867tlt/poe_version_of_esp32/ take a look here. you can use esphome devices as bluetooth proxies. https://esphome.io/components/bluetooth_proxy/
EST-PoE-32 is an ESP32 Power-Over-Ethernet development board with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth LE, and Ethernet. This board is ideal for various Smart Home and IoT projects thanks to it's flexible power options, ease of use and connectivity options. Perfect for making your own Smart Home or IoT devices for Home Assistant, openHAB,
The above are good advice, I'd also say that PoE-to-DC converters are an option sometimes. A little expensive if you want to use it to power a $4 ESP32, but can be super useful for "converting" non-PoE devices to PoE
I especially like the fact I can run my PoE switch off a UPS and then use PoE to "send" that UPS protection around the house
dumb question - but it seemed too easy
I got an olimex board all setup and it's working in HA.
Is that all there is to it? It's seeing bluetooth devices and the visualizer is showing devices.
Does HA simply just start making use of the proxy just like that even with existing bluetooth devices? There's both a proxy now and the onboard bluetooth in the minipc server.
(also, I won eve a while back but Fuzzwork was hugely useful to me back in the day, thanks)
Hey @meager saddle sorry for bothering you but i want to order one of these too but I'm in the US, and it says I need to spend over $1,000 in order to get it shipped here. Are you in the US too, and if so, did you have this issue as well?
