I have solar, and I get production data from the solar edge integration, but I am missing the hardware for import and export readings. I can get the hourly import and export readings from my utility, Alliant Energy, as a CSV file one billing cycle later. Is there a good way to get that into the energy dashboard after the fact?

I was thinking about scripting something that would emit backdated state change events, would that work?

you need to update the long term statistics tables which can be a bit cumbersome
to save yourself some headaches the best way is to add your own monitoring
