#Adjust ThirdReality motion sensor sensitivity?

So I got this ThirdReality sensor as a trigger for motion in my pantry to alert when tiny hands try to take all the Nutter Butters. Thing is, it's a bit too sensitive, as it picks up motion in the kitchen as well, which is something I want to avoid if I can. I can move it, but where it's at now is the best place for it to work.

Is there a way to reduce the sensitivity of these sensors either via HA or on the device itself, or am I stuck with moving it?

I have a ton of these and there’s no way to adjust it, it has to be placed accordingly

Anything in its cone of detection is going to trigger it

Well shoot. Thank you! I'll move the sensor then to reduce the detections in the kitchen

If it’s a walk-in pantry just inside the doorway should work, although then maybe it’s too late to intercept the cookie thief

#

Stick a vibration sensor on the package? 🤣

It's a pantry that's technically a walkway to the utility room off the rear end of the kitchen, it would make it so much easier if it was a walk in lol. I think I have a place to put it that'll at least get motion near the pantry

Can’t say enough good things about their devices, though. I’ll gladly take a larger device which takes AAAs over coin cells

I have a few of their energy sensing wall warts and now one of these motion sensors. They all have been a pleasure to use
