I recently integrated an ecovacs robot Vacuum after it got Matter Support into Home Assistant using the official matter Server add-on. After a rough start the main functions (start/ stop robot, change cleaning mode and getting several sensor values) are integrated and reliable to use.
Although one core feature for me is still missing: Cleaning a specific room(s)!
Talking in the Home Assistant Community forum one user said that this is supported in Apple Home over matter already. This means the support for this feature is still missing in Home Assistant.
Is this true?
And does Home Assistant already work on this/ have some kind of a roadmap where you can see the missing features and priorities?
How can someone help to integrate this feature?
