Looking to purchase a home assistant hardware camera (doorbell) or home assistant kit that can build the following:
__Requirements - Absolutely Necessary __

  • 2k, 4k or 8k camera
  • Able to run my own AI models (most advanced computer vision algorithms - i.e. gemini 2.5 pro, GPT 4o vision, custom huggingface models, person detection, weapon detection, etc.)
  • Two-Way Microphone where I can run DL AI algorithms on the audio
  • Can connect to a custom mobile-app I create (I make the iOS/Android App, and can receive data from the camera i.e live video feed, push notifications)
  • Wifi or PoE
  • Can run numerous computer vision + audio (for the microphone) algorithms simultneously. For example, if I wanted to use gemini for numerous tasks, I can run numerous gemini algorithms async.
  • Can run semantic visual search (AI video search)
  • Smart home integration
    Preferred but not necessary
  • Optical zoom
  • Night vision
  • Spotlight
  • 4MP, 1.1.8" CMOS Sensor
  • Panoptic tilt
  • capable of doing gait recognition
  • cross-camera tracking

For questions about recommended hardware, please ask over in #1284966353798697001. You seem to be mixing up multiple things which are each handled separately in home assistant.

A "home assistant" camera is not a thing - you'd be looking at a powerful computer (commodity pc hardware) to run the home assistant software along with... probably Frigate https://docs.frigate.video/ to handle the cameras, and then some separate network camera hardware supported by frigate (they have some recommendations on their site)

A complete and local NVR designed for Home Assistant with AI object detection. Uses OpenCV and Tensorflow to perform realtime object detection locally for IP cameras.
