hello @stiff bloom , I'm completely new to HA and VPE, but that's what I'm trying to do, and I got here looking for the right hardware to build on
I just wrote this #1413219689135341588 message , but basically there's a few different ESP boards that could be used and I'm more interested in the pure openai gpt-realtime voice assistant than the local thing or HA (at least for now)
as I wrote in the other thread, I believe that https://github.com/espressif/esp-webrtc-solution/ is the right way to go, I have not checke that implementaiton, but in general webrtc is a much superior transport to websocket because of the protocol
