Setup:

  • SER5PRO mini PC with Proxmox containing HA OS VM.
  • Core 2025.8.3
  • Using Brave browser on Windows 11 laptop
  • Using IPv4 on 2x Asus AC86U AiMesh with Merlin and 200 mbit/s glass (KPN)

Hello everyone,

For some weeks I am having issues with loading the UI with the Nabu Casa URL, while the internal IP works perfectly fine. The loading times are very long sometimes or it doesn't even load. It is strange since initially I haven't changed the network settings (although however I did some tweaking latest days to get the VPE's stable with Music Assistant).

Is this an issue on the server side of Nabu Casa or is this a problem with my instance?

Do you have any idea?

Thanks in advance!

Best,
Jip

Your instance is more likely the place to check. Not necessarily hardware but with what is going on with HA. Are there any runaway device tracker entities?

Or are go2rtc or custom webrtc integrations in use?

I don't know exactly what you mean with runaway, but i have 6 device trackers, which is quite random actually. 2 tasmota switches (i only have 2 so thats ok, tasmota rf bridge excluded), 1 of 2 roborocks (the older model), 2 VPE's (of 3) and my phone. All are home as expected. I do not use the go2rtc and webrtc anymore, but i do use a frigate proxy directed at the frigate lxc running on the same server, which I plan on killing since it is using the all the SWAP-disk space after a couple of days. First need more RAM. @autumn snow

I rebooted the frigate lxc and the nabu casa url was as fast as the internal ip. maybe after all the loading of the camera feeds is the issue? Lets find out over time. Still interested in the runaway devices though, love to learn

By runaway i mean thousands or even hundreds of thousand of entities created by something, usually bluetooth tracker related. I've seen folks discover and share this kind of thing here.
