Hey gang,
I've had a HAOS server running for years as a VM. I recently got a home assistant Green and the home assistant voice preview.

I want to have the HA green acting as a HA jump type server. Added the remote HA integration and setup the green as remote and my old one as the main one but I'm not able to see or access the shared entities.

I'm I thinking about this incorrect? Is the older matured one actually the remote? And the green would be the main.

If I setup the HA voice device on my old one, how would I verbally control something that would be connecting through the HA Green as a remote server?

If you are putting the HA Green on the same network, you are probably better off to use it as the sole server - although this may be less performant than the VM install and hence you may just want to stick with the VM.

You would then connect the HA Voice to which ever you decide should be your sole HA Server.

The Remote HA Integration is more for linking HA Server at one location to HA server at another location. It exposes the entities from the remote HA server to the local one. So you should connect the voice to which ever is the main server and configure so that it sees the entities exposed by the remote ha integration.

Ok ya. That's kind of where I was going, making the HAg the main server. Performance isn't a big deal for me right now. Most of my smart devices are in my office which I had to put on its own vlan for work reasons. But it has a static route. But maybe I just need to cut my losses and run a server on each subnet. I was just hoping for a consolidated way to manage them both.
